  Originality Should Keep away from Official Standard

  It is a hot topic that the development of originality industry is started in China. And the local government also pays great attention to this issue. From time to time, there are secretaries and mayors presenting in the discussion, and sometimes the base of originality industry of some city is come to light. But behind the excitement, there is a doubt that who on earth initiates the originality industry, and who are blazing new trails.As far as I know, a group of creators in culture, art, and design emerge spontaneously in Britain where the originality industry is started. And even John Howkins, the father of originality industry, who writes The Creative Economy, is a pure scholar, having nothing to do with the government. Morevover, the originality industry in Norh America is started by a group of passionate and ambitious bravers. There is no single officer in Hollywood, but the most creative playwrights, directors, and quantities of excellent technical talents. Even the very famous Chinese stars are flowing there. Thus, when creators of originality industry of Britain come to China, seeing the play of China’s originality, they can not understand more or less: why is the originality industry directed by officers? They can’t help asking: who are the creators in China? Where are they? And then, the Chinese officers will lead the foreign creators to the newly established originality demonstrative bases to see the unknown Chinese creators. They are small companies, such as craf workshops, painting villages, and animation catoon companies, and design studios and advertising companies,doing business for making a living. Then, the foreign creators really understand the essence of China’s originality industry.

  China has always been a united multi-ethnic county. Since the establishment of the household register of Qin dynasty, the united multi-ethnic country has set up the earliest Google, combining administration with government. Up to now, the Google is still working. But the Google is different from the real network google, in that the Google of China does not let people search and choose freely, instead,it cultivates a lot of its governors, and forms many restraints and regulations after thousands of years, and even many indescribable rules. These rules are all connected with China’s huge bureaucracy. So, China’s originality industry, on the one hand, needs to devolop openly like the network of google, on the other hand, the traditional ideology of Chinese Google intervenes with it, and keeps its function of supervision and control. Just because of this, the foreign creators can not understand China’s originality industry, and it also makes the Chinese creators have the free room for originality.

  In the traditional economic development models, the Chinese market economy is led by the government. The extent, the field is controlled by the government. Although the open of China made the common people live a better happy life that they never lived before, this kind of open is limited and more ideological. Now everything is much better. The age of globalization is coming, the world is peace, the science and technology changes quickly and the world appears all kinds of strange things. Chinese opening has reaches a shed from quantitative change to qualitative change.

  Originality Is Fortune of the 21st Century

  On 18th December, 2007, the mascot, Haibao, is born in Shanghai World’s Fair. The increase rates of originality in these countries all exceed their overall economic increase rate. Especially in America and Britain, the increase rate is 3 to 5 times of the overall economic increase rate. According to the rough statistics in early 2006, the daily output of world’s originality industry economy, based on the developed countries, has been from 22 billion dollars in 2002 up to 30 billion dollars, and its annual increase rate has been from the original 5% up to 6%. In 2006, the total output value of originality industry of Britain has become the second big industry after financial service industry. The number of its employees accounts for 80% of Britain’s total population of employees.

  Countries all over the world have witnessed the rapid development of originality industry and huge economic benefits brought up by it. A global originality society and time for fortune has come. Creativity is another fortune in the new century after the chip technique and network information economy. What is originality? It is the new fortune in 21st century. If you are not creative, that means you are losing your future money.
 
  From the network agreement of Open source to Open Nation, China’s originality industry has taken its global step and beat the mark of fortune explosion of Internet. The word openness itself has the context of modern China, which reflects the essence of the 21st century’s economy—fortune.

  What is originality? Nowadays, Internet, newspapers, forums are all talking about the new economy and industry. What does originality on earth bring us and to China? Why do we so love it? The late 80s famous writer, Guo Jingming ranks the first of the annual Chinese cultural nabobs, which makes the culture specialists feel nothing in the world is sure, and even the serious culture has put on the coat of money. Now, originality has been changing people’s minds and traditional ideas with an unimagined speed. In Shanghai, many old factories have changed completely, being bases of originality which have more development capacity than Kaiyue, and real estate agents, and investors all have great interest in them. The artists of Beijing 798 make the remote Songzhuang into a Louver of China, the biggest gathering place of art in the world.

  Since the Qin dynasty, the cultural creators of China have never been the pioneers of times. Whereas, the reform and opening-up in 30 years and the global wave of originality industry turn the cultural creativity into treasure of the new century. Artists and creators become the favorites by government and investors in power. In the wave of cultural creativity, the Analects interpreted by Yu Dan, and the interpretation of the Three Kingdoms by Yi Zhongtian, are all put on the list of the Chinese cultural nabobs. A group of EMBAs gain their reputation and at the same time make a fortune. So in the wave of originality, local governments, such as Shanghai, Beijing, Shenshen, Changsha, Chengdu, Chongqing, and Wuhan, attach  great importance to the development of originality industry. They are all trying to be the leading one in the industry. All these waken our Chinese people from dreams: China has really stepped into a new era of creativity.

  Originality is none other than fortune and money of the 21st century. The fast development high increase of originality of Britain, the getting rich in one night of Korea, the prosperous copyright industry of America, and the great interest of Chian’s main cities and officers in originality industry, all these uncover the secret of originality industry. If someone asks what originality is, the best answer is that it is money of the 21st century. If he still can not understand, you can tell him that originality is his money of today and future.
